This year in gifted Jack Johns, Josh Reed and Lucia Baker created an interactive project about constellations.

 

We created a project where you can graph constellations.

To make this project we used pegboard, string, and dowel rods. Our first step was making the peg board into a graph, so people would know where to put the dowel rods in order to make the constellation. After we had done that, we typed the ordered pairs for each constellation. We put the dowel rods in the holes of the pegboard and tied string around the dowel rods, so you could see the constellation. After our first test constellation, we knew our project would work!
