Project Name: Far away Black Holes

Why you choose the project?:

Because I didn’t know what Black Holes were.

What is the purpose or science behind the project?:

To share information about black holes for our gifted class.

How did you engineer/ create the project?:

I read a book called A Black Hole is Not a Hole. I then used the apps ChatterKid and iMovie to create my presentation. I have never used these 2 apps before I had to have help at first but soon I could do it myself.

What did you learn (skills, information, etc.)?:

I learned that black holes are the strongest gravity forces in the whole universe and made when stars (45 times larger than the sun) die. The biggest Black Hole in our part of our universe is NGC 4486. I learned a lot about other cool facts about black holes too. I enjoyed using the apps to create my presentation.
